Alumni In the News
Fall-1999. As we were all preparing for the big Y2K scare, several undergraduate men signed their official bids and became Associate members of Lambda Chi Alpha. Little did we know that one of those men would move on to serve the fraternity after graduation. For the past five years, the Fraternity's staff has included two brothers from Theta Lambda Zeta.Since the summer of 2003, Tim Reuter has been working with the General Fraternity, serving as an Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC). As an ELC, Tim traveled extensively throughout the Southwest last year, visiting more than thirty chapters, providing guidance, support and programming direction. He also assisted in the colonization of the San Diego State chapter, where over forty men Associated into the chapter. Additionally, Tim has conducted several dozens Impact Leadership workshops for many different schools. Known as "the premiere leadership program", Impact Leadership helps undergraduates gain a better understanding of leadership styles, personality traits as well as organizational behaviors. This past summer, Tim served as the International Ritual Team Coach. The team, consisting of over 25 brothers from across North America, including Nate Broghammer and Brannon Wright from Theta Lambda, performed a flawless interpretation of our sacred initiation ritual at General Assembly. Currently, Tim serves the Fraternity as a Senior Consultant, co-managing the ELC team. Tim Reuter Said: Following his service to the Fraternity, Tim plans on pursuing his Masters degree in either Organizational Leadership or Development.
