Lambda Chi 4 Life
A new program has been initiated for alumni to help the undergraduate chapter. In January, 2005, we launched "Lambda Chi 4 Life"? which is designed to help undergraduate brothers attend a wide variety of regional and international conferences sponsored by the general fraternity.

With your monetary donation, you'll be helping send a brother to one of the most elite training programs in North America. The first program is the weekend of February 26-28, 2005 in Valparaiso, Indiana. The Regional Leadership Conference estimated inclusive cost per person is $200. The cost pales in comparison to the value of what the individual and chapter will get out of it.

To jump start this drive, the Theta Lambda Zeta Alumni Board will match 50% of your donation. For example, you donate $100 and the Alumni Board will donate $50 for a total donation of $150.

For additional information about the Regional and International Conferences, please visit www.lambdachi.org/conferences. This page will describe in detail the events and expectations of the weekend.

Consider a donation today and help secure our chapter's tomorrow. As always, any donation made to the Educational Foundation is a tax-deductible event. Please consult your tax advisor for additional information.
Chapter Growth Continues
The Spring Semester has started off with a recruitment bang. Last Monday, four undergraduate men were Associated into Theta Lambda Zeta, bringing our current chapter total to 35. The chapter has set a goal of an additional five men prior to the conclusion of the semester. Should they reach their goal; the chapter will return nearly 35 men next Fall, making it one of the highest returning classes in recent years.
New High Pi Conference
Mike Kellar, Theta Lambda's chapter advisor, will be a facilitator at the William E. "WEW"? Wilson New High Pi conference in Orlando. Mike will be working with other professionals and fraternity staff to assist in training new chapter advisors. Additionally, Mike will be training the new chapter advisors on the first level of Impact Leadership, Lambda Chi Alpha's premiere leadership program.

Council of Presidents
Brannon Wright, Theta Lambda's chapter president, will be attending the 2nd annual Council of President's meeting in Orlando. The meeting, held in conjunction with the new High Pi conference, will cover a wide range of topics including effective people management skills, leadership development, time management proficiencies and other career building workshops. Additionally, Brannon will be networking with nearly 150 chapter presidents and dozens of alumni from across North America. This is the 2nd year Brannon will be attending the conference and will mark his 5th international fraternity meeting since Associating with the chapter.
Message From Your Alumni Chairperson
Nathaniel Schmidt, the chapter's High Rho, has been spending the first few weeks in office preparing for the upcoming semester. A freshman, Nathaniel already sees the importance of the Rho office and is in position to help build a stronger and better program.

“Pretty much my main expectation for my office is to increase relations with the alumni. Even though the office of Rho is one of the lowest ranking Zeta office, I feel that it is one of the most important. One way that I want to reach my goal of increasing relations with alumni is by trying to incorporate more events involving them coming to the chapter house. I'm looking forward to Founders Day since being a freshman I haven't had much of a chance to connect with many of the alumni.

“I also hope that my being in this office will train me to continue working for the house in any office. I really hope that I can continue in working for the house and I feel that being the Rho will be a fantastic place to start.”

On behalf of the alumni, I would like to congratulate Nathaniel's efforts thus far and wish him the best of luck in his office pursuits.
